• The role of the Orientation Advisor is to offer guidance in the selection of courses and rotations, and to be available to discuss advisee concerns and questions during the fall semester

• Each rotating student is assigned a faculty member who is his/her Orientation Advisor for the first semester

• Assigned advisors will be introduced to incoming students on the first day of orientation

• At that time, students will schedule an appointment with their advisor to discuss in detail course selection and rotation possibilities

• Each student is not required to participate in lab rotations exclusively within the Focus Group area of their advisor or within the Focus Group originally indicated

• Students should feel free to consult any or all advisors to gain insight into the various Focus Groups, laboratories and courses
