The 13th Annual UW Cardiovascular Research Center Scientific Poster fair will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007, 3-5 pm in the Atrium of the Health Sciences Learning Center.  More than 60 scientific posters representing a wide range of cardiovascular research will be on display, and will be presented by colleagues of the Center, trainees on the Training Program in Translational Cardiovascular Science and medical student interns who worked in cardiovascular research labs during the summer of 2007.  The topics covered at this fair include: Heart Failure, Cardioregenerative Medicine, Gene Regulation and Development, Arrhythmias and Ion Channels, Vascular Biology, Cardiovascular Biomechanics, Cardiovascular Risk Assessment, Stroke, Excitation-Contraction Coupling and Cardiac Cell Biology.  If you wish to submit an application to present at this fair, the application deadline is November 9.  The application form is available on our web site at: http://www.cvrc.wisc.edu/events.html
